1. About Us
Battersea Weight Loss Clinic is operated by Pop Up Docs Ltd, registered in England and Wales (Company No: 13147400). Our registered address is 28-29 Wilcox Close, London SW8 2UD.
We dispense medication in partnership with Medirex Pharmacy. Our prescribing doctors are registered with the General Medical Council (GMC). Our clinic is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC), registration number 1-11854805327.
2. Our Services
We provide private medical services including GP consultations, medical questionnaire review, prescription of licensed weight loss medication (tirzepatide - Mounjaro), dispensing of that medication, nutritionist consultations, blood testing, and body composition scanning.
All clinical services are provided by appropriately registered clinicians. We do not provide emergency medical care. If you have a medical emergency, call 999 or attend your nearest A&E immediately.
3. Eligibility and Prescribing
Mounjaro (tirzepatide) is a prescription-only medicine (POM). We will only prescribe following a full clinical assessment by a GMC-registered GP. Completing an eligibility check or questionnaire does not guarantee a prescription will be issued.
Our clinicians exercise independent clinical judgement in all prescribing decisions. If we are unable to prescribe Mounjaro to you following assessment, you will receive a full refund of your order total.
Prescribing decisions are based on current MHRA licensing and NICE guidance for tirzepatide in the United Kingdom.
4. Payment and Cancellation
Payment is required at the time of ordering. We accept all major credit and debit cards via our Stripe payment processor. Bank transfer is available on request.
- Cancellations made more than 48 hours before your appointment will receive a full refund of the consultation fee
- Cancellations within 48 hours of your appointment will forfeit the consultation fee
- Medication that has been dispensed and dispatched cannot be refunded
- If we are unable to prescribe following GP assessment, you will receive a full refund of your complete order, except where that inability arises from inaccurate or incomplete information provided by you (see Section 5)
Prices are confirmed at the point of each order. We will always communicate any pricing changes to you in advance of your next order; changes do not apply retrospectively to medication already dispensed.
5. Patient Responsibilities
You must provide accurate and complete medical information when completing our questionnaire. Providing false or incomplete information may result in your treatment being discontinued and could pose a serious risk to your health.
Our clinical assessment, and any prescribing decision made on the basis of it, relies entirely on the accuracy of the information you provide. We accept no liability for any harm, complication, adverse outcome, or failed treatment arising from inaccurate, incomplete or false information provided by you, whether in your questionnaire, consultation, or at any other point during your care with us.
You must inform us of any changes to your medications, medical conditions, or health status between appointments. You agree to use only one weight loss medication at a time. You confirm that any medication prescribed to you is for your personal use only.
Medication prescribed and dispensed to you is for your personal use only. You agree not to sell, share, transfer, lend or otherwise distribute any medication dispensed to you to any other person. We accept no liability whatsoever for harm, injury or death arising from medication used by anyone other than the patient to whom it was prescribed.
You agree to read the patient information leaflet before taking any medication prescribed to you.
6. Side Effects and Informed Consent
Mounjaro (tirzepatide), like all medications, carries known side effects ranging from common and mild to rare and serious. A full and honest breakdown of these is published on our Side Effects page, which we strongly encourage you to read before ordering.
As part of our questionnaire and consultation process, you will be asked to confirm that you understand the side effects associated with your treatment and that you wish to proceed regardless. This confirmation constitutes your informed consent to treatment and forms part of your medical record. Your GP will also discuss relevant risks with you directly during your consultation.
You acknowledge that no medication is entirely free from risk, that individual responses to medication vary, and that you have had the opportunity to ask questions about these risks before treatment begins.
7. Our Right to Discontinue Treatment
We reserve the right to discontinue your treatment, decline to issue a further prescription, or end our clinical relationship with you at any time if, in our clinical judgement, continuing to prescribe is no longer appropriate or safe. This may include, but is not limited to, circumstances where you fail to attend scheduled reviews, fail to respond to clinical communication, provide inaccurate information, or behave in a manner that is abusive, threatening or otherwise unacceptable towards our staff.
Where we discontinue treatment under this clause, any unused or undispatched portion of your order will be refunded; medication already dispensed and dispatched is non-refundable.
8. Limitation of Liability
We provide clinical services in good faith and in accordance with current UK medical guidelines and MHRA licensing. We cannot guarantee specific outcomes. Weight loss results vary between individuals depending on a range of factors including starting weight, dose, diet, lifestyle, and medical history.
Our liability to you in connection with any order or service is limited to the total fees paid for that specific service. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Any claim arising in connection with our services must be brought within 12 months of the date of the relevant service, after which time the claim is barred.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
9. Circumstances Beyond Our Control
We will not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where that failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to medication supply shortages, strikes, regulatory or licensing changes, IT or system failures, or staff illness. Where such circumstances arise, we will notify you as soon as reasonably possible and take reasonable steps to minimise any resulting delay.
10. Complaints
We take all complaints seriously. Please refer to our Complaints Policy for details of how to raise a concern and the escalation routes available to you.
11. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any dispute arising in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
